Day-1 Kolkata. Arrive at Kolkata- the capital of West Bengal and a city renowned for its colonial character & cuisine. Visit Kalighat Temple, Victoria Memorial, Belur math, Howrah Bridge, Indian Museum, St Pauls Cathedral. O/n at hotel in Kolkata.
Day-2 Gangasagar Excursion Early morning (0600 Hrs), proceed to Hardwood Point (100 km/4 hrs). From Hardwood Point, take a ferry to cross River Muriganga to reach Kachuberia. From there, travel to Gangasagar- an island in the confluence of River Ganga & Bay of Bengal & famous for Kapil Muni Ashram which is considered to be a great religious significance. After Darhan, return back to Kachuberia to board your ferry. O/n at hotel in Kolkata
